Common pricing questions

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Organizations can start with a free trial before choosing a paid plan. During the trial, you can set up your program, invite staff, and test core workflows.

Which plan is right for my organization?

Choose based on team count, coach count, roster size, reporting needs, and expected payment volume. Larger or higher-volume programs may benefit from plans with lower transaction rates and more admin controls.

Are coaches included in an organization plan?

Yes. Coaches invited under an organization account are included as part of that organization’s plan and do not need to purchase a separate individual coach plan. Individual coach pricing applies to coaches who run their own coaching business outside of an organization account.

How do transaction fees work?

Coaches Hive charges a platform fee on paid transactions processed through the platform. Coaching session fees are based on rolling transaction volume, while marketplace purchases have a 10% platform fee capped at $75 per transaction.

What is the marketplace fee?

Marketplace sales have a 10% platform fee, with a maximum fee of $75 per transaction. For example, a $100 sale has a $10 platform fee. A $1,000 sale is capped at a $75 platform fee.

How are coaching session fees calculated?

Session platform fees are based on rolling transaction volume. Higher-volume organizations may qualify for lower session fee rates. The current session fee range is 5% to 10%.

Are Stripe processing fees charged separately?

No. Coaches Hive absorbs standard Stripe processing fees. Athletes and families do not see a separate Stripe processing fee added at checkout.

Can I upgrade or downgrade later?

Yes. You can change plans as your program grows or your needs change. Upgrades can unlock higher limits, more reporting, and lower transaction rates where applicable.

Can I cancel my plan?

Yes. You can cancel your plan before the next billing cycle. After cancellation, your access may continue through the end of the paid period, depending on your billing terms.

Can fees or plan details change over time?

Yes. Coaches Hive may update platform fees, caps, plan limits, or volume tiers as the platform grows. Any changes will be reflected on the pricing page before they apply to new transactions.
